Mysore Dasara Festival Date

10 Days Dasara festival starts on Thursday, 3rd October 2024 at 09.00hrs offering Pooja to Godess Chamundeshwari on top of Chamundi Hill.

Daily cultural shows are organised in 4 to 5 venues in Mysore city apart from lighting of heritage buildings. Food Festival, Sports, Yoga and many more activities are conducted etc.,

9th day, 11th evening  award function takes place in front of Mysore Palace followed by cultural show.

10th day, 12th  morning, Grand Dasara procession also called Jamboo Savari start around 13.15hrs. Pooja is performed in front of Maharaja Palace.

Evening Tarch Light Parade start at 18.00hrs culminating end of festival.
